How to buy publish credits

Overview

If you run out of publish credits included in your plan, you can purchase additional credits to continue publishing articles without upgrading your subscription.

Prerequisites

• Active Ferndesk account

• Connected payment method to your account

Compatibility

This feature is available to all Ferndesk users regardless of plan tier. The process is the same for all account types.

Steps to Buy Publish Credits

1. Navigate to your Billing and usage page in the Ferndesk dashboard.

2. In the usage section, click the Buy More Credits button.

3. In the "Buy publish credits" dialog:

   1. Select the number of credits you want to purchase using the plus and minus buttons.

      The minimum purchase is 2 credits, and credits can only be bought in even quantities (2, 4, 6, etc.).

   2. Alternatively, use one of the quick preset buttons: 10, 20, 50, or 100 credits.

   3. Review the cost breakdown showing the number of credits at $0.50 each.

4. Click Confirm purchase to complete the transaction.

   We'll charge the card linked to your account. Make sure this is the payment method you want to use before confirming.

5. After successful purchase, you'll see a confirmation toast.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while purchasing credits:

• Error: "Failed to purchase credits" - Try the purchase again. If the issue persists, contact support.

• Wrong payment method charged - Currently, we charge the card linked to your account. If you need to update your payment method, please contact support.

• Need to purchase more credits than allowed - The maximum per transaction is 2,000 credits. For larger purchases, contact support.
